Detroit, MI - Believe me when I say this, this tastes just as good as it looks. This is homemade ice cream from the Whitney in Detroit MI. The little design at the top is crystallized sugar. This was so good, nothing was left. We finished it all, how can we not! Only if all ice cream was this good and presented this elegantly.

Lansing, MI - You would think this quesadilla was from some fancy mexican restaurant. Well almost, I got this puppy in Lansing, MI right at home! My wife made this and damn it was great! It was a sausage and cheese quesadilla. She made this among other things on my birthday. It had sausage, cheese, salsa, and jalopenos. It was spicy and wonderful. Now for you vegetarians, the sausage was actually sausage crumbles, fake meat from morning star. You can't tell the difference at all. She cooked this to perfection, nice and golden brown.

Dearborn, MI - Breakfast? MMMM Eggs Benedict. This breakfast in bed was at the Ritz Carlton in Dearborn MI. This was very good and you can tell from the picture that what made this very good was that it only had a touch of hollandaise sauce for flavor, fresh tomatoes, and mushrooms on top. The mushrooms helped to give it a more wild, out of the garden, taste. I was sad when this was all gone. I enjoyed it!

Dearborn, MI - The way this meals starts is, breakfast in bed. This is from the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dearborn MI. It's a cheese and tomato omelet with fresh salsa on top. It also came with this fantastic hashbrowns. This was served in bed, which was phenomenal. I don't know what they did to the eggs, but they were prepared in a way I have never done before. It was soft, fluffy, absolutely delicious. I could have this breakfast anytime during the day.
Boyne City, MI - Sorry for the crappy picture, this is from my phone. I've never had French Toast like this before and I wouldn't have expected it from here either. Up in Boyne City MI, there was this little tiny diner (I'm sorry I don't remember the name) that had this, surprisingly taste-bud (and picture) worthy. It's two pieces of french toast with fresh strawberries on top. More importantly, the part that gave it its uniqueness is it also has cream cheese in the middle. All together, you have a great breakfast!

Bowling Green, KY - So, where do you go to get good Vietnamese food? How about Bowling Green Kentucky! What you see here is a fantastic dish called Bun Egg Roll with Tofu. Just saying it makes my mouth water! The noodles and fresh veggies underneath make this dish a staple in your everyday eating. Don't forget to pour the sweet sauce on top. It wouldn't be a Bun dish without it! I wish I could remember the restaurants name, sorry about that.

Baton Rouge, LA - Sugar tooth? Oh yeah, this will do it. Down in Baton Rouge, settled by the French, they have some French influences, such as this, beignet. Oh man, you get powder sugar all over your face and it's worth every moment. Get a couple or a dozen if you get a chance! :) Enjoy!

Baton Rouge, LA - There's only one kind of food you get when you go down to Louisiana, Cajun Food. I was in Baton Rouge and made sure I got some Jambalaya, Catfish, dirty rice, and what ever those other two things are. It was fantastic. Nothing like Cajun food from the south. MMMMMM! This was actually from the airport. I didn't get a chance to get it when I was around, so it was cajun fast food, but still good. I would love to try it out at another place if I get a chance.

Ann Arbor, MI - Well, here's my first post! If you haven't figured it out from the title, I'm an avid food lover and am happy to share my exotic finds with you. Here is my first. This is a New Dill Pickle from a deli called Zingermans in Ann Arbor Michigan. Wow, was it good. If you're not familiar with New Dills, it's better than any kosher dill pickle you'll have. It's very crunchy and still like a cucumber, but it's made with lots of garlic. I highly recommend them. This one was had a little too much pepper flavor, but I still recommend it.
