Kawklin, MI - I love beef jerky. There's no way getting around it. So, when ever I have an opportunity to try out some jerky, you better believe I do. There are lots of places throughout MI that has tremendous homemade jerky, especially as you travel up north. The key to getting excellent jerky is getting the freshly made kind. Do not even try the prepackaged, over-produced, stuff from Meijer or Kroger. So, this was hot and spicy jerky from Kawkalin MI. This was pretty good, but it was a tad-bit too greasy for me. As I find some more, I'll keep posting them. Enjoy!
