West Bloomfield, MI - Part of the experience of going out to eat at an ethnic restaurant is not just the food, but the atmosphere and ambiance. I've been unsuccessful in finding an Israeli restaurant outside of Israel, until now. Thanks to my friends at work, Terri and Elisa, I have finally found one called Yossi. If you would like to try the Israeli experience, try this place out and I don't think you will be disappointed. The menu is filled with Israeli style food, paintings, and signs everywhere in Hebrew. Now the food, it was also very very good. The first picture is of the Israeli Salad, which consists of cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions in an olive oil vinaigrette dressing. It tastes amazingly fresh and is perfect for a nice little salad. The sandwich is a falafel pita wrap that contains falafel lettuce tomato, pickles, and tahini sauce. This is probably one of the best falafel sandwiches I've had in a long time. The pickles, which is one of the Israeli touches, really helps accentuate the sandwich. Enjoy!
